Global Education and Orphanage Partnerships

For children in orphanages, loss runs deep. Without parents or family, they may live on the margins of society, where basic needs are met but emotional and social development is neglected. Loss of family can mean not only a childhood without parents but loss of status, history, culture and extended family support as well. In partnership with other organizations, we can help. Through our Early Enrichment Program, babies and young children receive love, individual attention, and stimulation from special “aunties” who visit several times a week. Our Education Sponsorship Program helps older teens leaving orphanages to pursue higher education or vocational training by providing books, dorm room supplies, clothing, or other educational or vocational necessities. Through our International Foster Care Training, we're helping those who help the children entering Russia's new child welfare system. Other programs include foster care for special needs orphans, individual child sponsorships, and orphanage support.
